BILLY ELVIS

Billy Elvis was born & raised in Detroit Michigan, but “escaped” after High School to embark on his radio career. His first stop was WONW 1280am Defiance Ohio January 2 1985, where his responsibilities included everything from on air to burning the trash. From there he moved on to Ft Wayne Indiana where he worked at “Hot Country” WBTU before moving on to help launch the “Elvis & Hammer Show” on 98.9 The Bear. After an extremely successful decade & a half run on The Bear, which included weekend sports anchor duties on ABC affiliate “21 Alive” WPTA-TV he moved to Phoenix Arizona & latched on to Classic Rock KSLX in the valley of the sun. But he was lured back to Fort Wayne & took over Program Director duties on Classic Rock 92.3 The Fort while also briefly reviving the Elvis & Hammer Show in the afternoon. He then moved on to fulfill a dream as a sports talk host on the BS Sports Show on ESPN 1380am & 106.7fm in Fort Wayne in 2012, while also briefly taking on sports anchor duties at NBC 33 Wise-TV. In addition to his current role on the Koza In The Morning Show & sportscasts on Childers Media Group sister station 104.9 The Eagle during the 6a-9a hours, he still co hosts “On The Green” golf show on ESPN Fort Wayne Saturday mornings & co hosts The BS Sports Show evenings on Yahoo Sports Radio Indiana. There’s virtually nothing Billy hasn’t done during his 31 year broadcast career…good & bad!

BOB ULM

Ever since Bob Ulm was 3 years old he wanted to be on the radio. As adulthood approached, unsuited for real employment, Bob took his first radio job at then 3-month old WDOH Radio in Delphos whle still a junior in high school and has been a fixture on morning radio in the area full time since June 1, 1974.

Bob’s newscasts are currently heard each week day morning on all Childers Media Group radio stations sharing the studio each day with his black lab guide dog Pippa. He also works as an advertising sales rep for the stations.

Bob and his wife Kathy have been married since 1977 and have 2 full grown children.

CHALLEN STEWART

Challen’s radio journey is the product of a very happy accident. After arriving at Bluffton University in 2008, he was adamant on pursuing a career as a sports journalist. His major required a small amount of sports broadcasts on top of his writing duties. When Challen sat down for his very first broadcast, a volleyball game, he fell in love instantly; quickly earning the title of “The Voice of Bluffton University Athletics” on Bluffton’s 96.1 WBWH. A jack of all trades, Challen has broadcasted everything from Football to Cross Country, and all sports in between. While in college he was a member of 1150 WIMA and WOSN in Lima. He was a 3 year starter on the football team at Bluffton, assistant volleyball coach in 2012, and graduated in May 2013. He joined Childers Media Group part-time in August 2013. Never able to kick the radio bug, Challen has dabbled in a little bit everything during his time at CMG, before working his way “up” to full-time Producer for Koza In The Morning and a weekend personality, known as “Stew,” on CMG’s sister station 92.1 The Frog. While only having half the life experience of his KITM counterparts, Challen has a natural talent for sports analysis which often times leaves his partners amazed and dumbfounded. He has an unhealthy love affair with sports, bordering on addiction, and is unquestionably the brains behind the KITM operation
